Overview

Kumihimo bracelets are hand-braided jewelry pieces, using a traditional Japanese braiding technique called “Kumihimo”, which means “braided ropes” in Japanese.

This braiding method has been around for centuries, and was historically used to make cords and belts for traditional Japanese clothing, as well as to fasten parts of samurai armor.
